In the evening of October 17, 2012, I had casually met and had a brief chat with actor and restaurant businessman Marvin Agustin in Greenbelt 3 Mall, Makati City, the Philippines after the successful movie premiere of Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles starring Dingdong Dantes and Lovi Poe.
During our conversation, I asked him about the house for sale business by him, his father and partners in posh subdivision Ayala Heights, Quezon City and he said it has recently be sold already. Their next plan is a townhouse project in the Congressional area of Quezon City, Metro Manila. Congratulations!
Another good news for this talented, entrepreneurial and sportsminded actor Marvin Agustin is that he is one of the 20 finalists in the prestigious annual search of "Entrepreneur of the Year Philippines" by Ernst & Young and the SGV Foundation.
Ernst & Young is one of the world's biggest accounting firms, while the SGV Group is the Philippines' largest accounting firm.
The awards banquet will be held tonight at the Rizal Ballroom of the Makati Shangri-La Hotel in Makati City and will also be covered by ANC of ABS-CBN 2.
The grand prize winner will represent the Philippines to the global awards event which shall see winners from 55 countries in six continents competing in 2013 in Monte Carlo, that is why one of the sponsors of this Philippine competition is KLM airline which flies to Europe.
