Michael J. Fox Does Not Want Taylor Swift To Date His Son

With age comes wisdom, and Michael J. Fox has the good sense to listen to Tina Fey.

Recall last week's Golden Globe Awards, when Fey took a playful jab at serial dater Taylor Swift, telling her to stay away from the "Back to the Future" star's 23-year-old son, Sam? Well, Fox was paying attention.

Vulture caught up with the 51-year-old actor at a book launch party in New York City, and told the website that he wouldn't approve of Taylor Swift dating his son.

"I don’t keep up with it all. But Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right?" he asked, adding, "What a way to build a career."

Fox really doesn't keep up with the rumblings of young Hollywood, as he admitted that if his son brought her home, he probably wouldn't even know who she was -- but he'd probably be able to put two and two together if he heard the inveitable song Swift would pen about the romance.

"Yeah, exactly," he said. "'Sam, You Piece of Shit.' Oh … that was the girl you brought home," he joked.
Clearly, Fox has a bit more foresight into this than Swift's most recent romantic conquests, which include One Direction's Harry Styles and Conor Kennedy, both 18, and five years Swift's junior. And Fox has good reason to worry that Swift would seek musical vengence. In fact, soon after the 23-year-old superstar split from Styles, she tweeted an ominious message:

Swift knows she's made a career for herself exposing her personal life, but with tweets like that, it's almost as if Swift is banking on romances turning sour in order to inspire her next big hit.

Les Miserables movie is wonderful good entertainment. It has suprisingly lots of moral and specially Christian lessons. Congratulations!

I watched last night on January 16 Wednesday 7:00 pm at Cinema 6 of Power Plant Mall in Rockwell, Makati City, Metro Manila, the Philippines. It was the successfull and full-house special screening project of the MBA students of the Ateneo Business School.

Spectacularly set in 19th century France in the throes of revolutionary ferment, the musical movie Les Misérables is an inspiring tale of struggles, shattered dreams, love, idealism, sacrifice and redemption. It is a beautiful and searing tribute to the indomitable strength of the human spirit.

Jean Valjean (played so convincingly by Hugh Jackman) is a poor ex-prisoner and a fugitive from the law for decades, pusued relentlessly by police officer Javert (Russell Crowe). The changes in the destiny of  ex-convict Valjean take dramatic and unexpected detours starting with his promise to care for factory worker and prostitute Fantine's (Anne Hathaway) young daughter Cosette. The young girl eventually meets the love of her life during the era of revolution and social tumult.

The acting and live singing of Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway were remarkably superb, powerful!

Congratulations to one of the world's longest-running musical in this wonderful and enthralling musical film by Tom Hooper, successfully bringing to the big screen the timeless epic saga of Victor Hugo, and the musical written by Alain Boublil and the composer Claude-Michel Schönberg (with English-language lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer).

BUT: Tom Hooper created a truly entertaining and touching film. But, the romance of the young lovers lacked real emotional spark or magic, as with parts of the film in terms of emotions despite talented actors and actresses, despite the world-class and famous material of this Victor Hugo literary masterpiece.

I highly recommend this well-made, inspiring, thoroughly entertaining and morally uplifting movie!
