CONGRESSIONAL SPOUSES DAWN ZULUETA & ASSUNTA DE ROSSI WANT PORK BARREL SCRAPPED
The Philippines' beautiful movie and television actresses married to congressmen Dawn Zulueta and Assunta de Rossi express their frustration over the alleged misuse of lawmakers’ Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) or pork barrel in the ABS CBN 2 television program Tapatan Ni Tunying this Thursday (September 19, 2013) hosted by Anthony Taberna.

Dawn believes that scrapping the pork barrel will solve the corruption.
“Let’s just remove the pork barrel from them,” she said.
“At least, we are able to determine the ones serving sincerely,” Assunta stated agreeing on Dawn’s statement.
Dawn and Assunta also talk about their personal lives and how they adjust from celebrity world to politics.
Dawn, the wife of Davao del Norte Rep. Anton Lagdameo Jr., said she did not want her husband to be involved in politics at first, but when opportunity to serve the country knocked on Anton’s door, she decided to support him nonetheless.
“The politics and entertainment industry are almost similar. When he needs me, I am always beside him,” Dawn said.
Meanwhile, Assunta, who has been married to Negros Occidental Rep. Jules Ledesma for ten years, shares her desire of having their first baby.
“After the elections, I told him that this time, I should be one of his top priorities since he is now on his last term. I’m just saying that he could slow down and think of a family,” Assunta said.

MGA MAY BAHAY NG KONGRESISTA, DAWN AT ASSUNTA NAGSALITA SA PORK BARREL SCAM SA "TNT"
Nagpahayag ng malaking panghihinayang sina Dawn Zulueta at Assunta de Rossi, parehong asawa ng mga kongresista, sa diumano’y paglustay sa Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) o pork barrel ng ilang mambabatas sa Tapatan Ni Tunying ngayong Huwebes (Setyembre 19).
Paniwala ni Dawn aktres, ang tuluyang pagbasura sa pork barrel ang reresolba sa kurapsyon.
“Tanggalin na lang natin ang pork barrel mula sa kanila,” saad niya.
“Dito, malalaman talaga natin kung sinu-sino ‘yong mga taos-pusong naglilingkod,” sabi ni Assunta bilang pagsang-ayon kay Dawn.
Magbabahagi rin sina Dawn at Assunta ng tungkol sa kanilang personal na buhay partikular sa kung paano nila nababalanse ang showbiz at pulitika kaugnay ng pagkakaroon nila ng asawang pulitiko.
Ayon kay Dawn, maybahay ni Davao del Norte Rep. Anton Lagdameo Jr., tutol siya sa pagpasok nito sa pulitika noong una, ngunit nang mabigyang pagkakataon si Anton na makapagsilbi sa bayan, buong-puso niya na lamang itong sinuportahan.
“Madali lang naman makapag-adjust. Ang pulitika at showbiz, halos pareho lang. Kapag kailangan niya ako, nandoon lang ako,” pahayag ni Dawn.
Samantala, pinarating naman ni Assunta ang kasabikan nito na magkaroon ng panganay na anak gayong sampung taon na rin silang kasal ni Negros Occidental Rep. Jules Ledesma.
“Pagkatapos ng eleksyon, sabi ko, sana ako naman ‘yong maging prayoridad niya tutal huling termino na niya ito. Ang sinasabi ko lang, dahan-dahan muna sa pulitika at isipin naman mina ang pamilya,” sabi ni Assunta.
